1. Who is responsible for your data
Farevia LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States, operates farevia.co and is responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
2. What we collect
To issue a ticket we collect what airlines require: passenger names, dates of birth, passport numbers, nationality, and contact details. If you create an account, we also store your email and a securely hashed password (or your Google/Apple sign-in identifier).
3. What we never collect
Card numbers never touch our servers — payment details are entered in our payment processor's own secure form and go directly to the processor. We don't buy third-party data profiles about you, and we don't track you across other websites.
4. How we use your data
To search fares, issue and service your bookings, send booking-related email, prevent fraud, and keep an audit trail of booking and payment events as required for financial recordkeeping. We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
5. Who we share it with
Only who the booking requires: the flight provider and operating airline (passenger and itinerary details), our payment processor (card payment processing), and our email provider (confirmations). Each processes data under its own compliance obligations.
6. Retention
Booking records are retained as required for tax, accounting, and aviation regulations. Account data is retained until you delete your account, after which it is removed from active systems within 30 days.
7. Your rights
You may request a copy of your personal data, correction of inaccuracies, or deletion of your account at any time via privacy@farevia.co. Where GDPR or similar laws apply, you also have rights to restriction, portability, and complaint to your supervisory authority.
8. Security
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Access to production systems is restricted and audit-logged.
